Job Summary :
The Human Resources Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting various human resources functions at DreamFields. This role focuses on recruitment administration, employee onboarding, documentation management, and compliance with HR policies and procedures. The HR Generalist works in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment, handling tasks related to new hires, terminations, employee changes, and benefits tracking.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Support the recruitment and HR teams with administrative tasks throughout the recruitment, interview, and hiring processes.
- Document, track, and maintain I-9 documentation through E-Verify.
- Process compliance checks and communicate results to the recruiting team.
- Input new hire data and maintain the accuracy of new hire records.
- Record and process pre-hire information, ensuring timely transfer to payroll.
- Facilitate new hire orientation, including compliance with sexual harassment and safety regulations.
- Onboard new hires, log employee IDs, and update related tracking systems.
- Maintain and process disciplinary action forms and Clarification of Expectation (COE) documents, facilitating meetings as needed.
- Process employee change forms related to promotions, demotions, wage adjustments, and transfers.
- Record and process terminations, updating payroll and employee tracking systems accordingly.
- Create employment verification letters for employees, detailing start dates, compensation, and pay frequency.
- File and process workers' compensation claims, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Track employee eligibility for benefits and handle referrals for timely payment.
- Maintain OSHA 300, 300a, and 301 logs.
