Deposit Operations Specialist II
Description
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the Deposit Operations Department including but not limited to the duties of a Deposit Operations Specialist I; coordinating their work within the unit or department, as well as with other departments and units; reporting pertinent information to the supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information requested by various means of communication; assisting the supervisor with various tasks to support the department's operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Demonstrate core values and guiding principles as outlined in the Bank's Mission, Vision and Value Statements of which the following are illustrative :
Gives exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers by providing prompt, polite and effective communication.
Process Fed cash letter adjustments, both incoming and outgoing, and write offs for returns including correspondence with the Federal Reserve Bank and online FRB functions.
ANCILLARY DUTIES
Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.

Position Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education / Training & Experience :
A high school diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in a business curriculum.
Skill(s) :
Strong customer relations, interpersonal skills, accuracy, reliability, flexibility, professional etiquette, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and strong time management skills. Ability to investigate a problem and find the ideal solution in a timely, efficient manner. Maintain a professional attitude to both internal and external customers., proficiency in reading, writing and basic business knowledge. Proficient in Microsoft Office including : Outlook, Word, and Excel applications. Team player with proven ability to work cooperatively and independently. Employee should be able to perform work satisfactorily after nine to twelve (9-12) months of on-the-job training.
Experience :
A minimum of one (1) year to two (2) years related experience normally required.
