As a key member of our sales team, the Vehicle Sourcing Director will be responsible for procuring pre-owned vehicles for our dealerships. This includes attending auctions, purchasing vehicles online, and collaborating with Sales Associates to provide guidance and support on purchasing used vehicles.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Purchasing Vehicles: Purchase pre-owned vehicles from auctions, online marketplaces, and other sources to meet the needs of our dealerships.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on market trends and changes in our geographic market.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales Associates to provide guidance and support on purchasing used vehicles.
- Appraisal: Accurately appraise used vehicles, providing valuable insights for purchasing decisions.
- Goal Setting: Establish personal income goals aligned with dealership standards, devising strategies to meet those objectives.
- Equity and Depreciation: Understand and explain equity and values, as well as depreciation, to make informed purchasing decisions.
