I. SWIM INSTRUCTOR JOB SUMMARY
Provide swimming instruction for students enrolled in JES swimming classes at client aquatic facilities operated by Jeff Ellis Management, LLC
II. DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- JES Swim Instructor must consistently perform the following duties:
- Provide supervision for students attending JES swim lessons by organizing and conducting classes according to the policies and procedures published by Jeff Ellis Swimming
- Assume responsibility for performing all administrative work including student progress reports, class lesson plans, and attendance records associated with Jeff Ellis Swimming classes taught by said instructor
- Assist JEM lifeguards to supervise and protect students while conducting JES lessons
- Provide for the health and safety of participants, including ensuring that all teaching and practice areas are free of hazards and that materials and equipment are safe. Maintain cleanliness and safety of pools and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the JES Program Manager
III. QUALIFICATIONS
To perform the job successfully an individual must 15 years of age or older and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- Educate students on proper technique and promote swimmer safety.
- Provide instruction for varying ages.

IV. REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
JES Swim Instructor must possess a valid JES Swim Instructor license and current CPR and First Aid certificate. (Curriculum training will be provided to applicant upon hiring.)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 35 per week
