Our goal at Jeff's bagel run is to bake fresh, bring joy, and build community. We started in our founder's (Jeff) home kitchen in 2019 and have grown to open 2 locations in the Orlando market. As of 2024, we are aggressively expanding our business, with 5 more locations opening in 2024. We are hiring in our We are looking for a dedicated person who is looking to learn the bagel business, and hopefully grow with us as we expand our footprint. We operate as a team, and we close at 2pm everyday!

Restaurant or bakery experience would be a bonus. We will fully train to execute our process. A great candidate will be disciplined, fast, and take pride in consistency, delivering a quality product day in and day out.

Must be willing to work in a small, hot space, furiously boiling and baking bagels to keep up with a high demand. Must be a good teammate.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and move quickly and efficiently under pressure.

Other potential workload: Cream cheese scooping, vegetable chopping, cookie baking, dishes, general cleaning, and front of house service when needed.

Responsibilities and Requirements (don't worry, we can train you!):

• Understands the importance of all baking procedures and recipes
• Prepping and baking bagels
• Open Bake
• Making all dough mixtures in a timely manner using correct procedures
• Understand rotation and shelf life of raw dough
• Clean and disinfect work area; set-up and break-down work station; and follow and ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Proof bagels
• Recognize the importance of time and temperature
• Responsible for opening store on time
• Able to close the entire bakery
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes.
• Knead and shape dough
• Operate machinery to mix, knead, and shape dough.
• Monitor the quality of the dough throughout the process.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and sanitized.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Must be able to start work as early as 4am
• Weekend availability required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $15 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
