About us
Our goal at Jeff's bagel run is to bake fresh, bring joy, and build community. We started in our founder's (Jeff) home kitchen in 2019 and have grown to open over 15 stores across the South East. As of 2025, we are aggressively expanding our business with over 50 planned locations opening in 2025 including 5 in the Charleston area. We are hiring now for our Clements Ferry Rd location!!
We are looking for a dedicated person who is looking to learn the bagel business, and hopefully grow with us as we expand our footprint. We operate as a team, and we close at 2pm everyday!
Restaurant or bakery experience will be a bonus. We will fully train you to execute our process. A great candidate will be disciplined, fast, and take pride in consistency, delivering a quality product day in and day out.
Must be willing to work in a sometimes fast paced bakery focused on baking bagels and serving smiles. Must be a good teammate. With a strong understanding of what it takes to provide great customer service to customers.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and move quickly and efficiently under pressure.
Other potential workload: Whipped cream cheese production, cream cheese scooping, vegetable chopping, inventory count, food prep (bagels), dishes, general cleaning, and front of house service.
Responsibilities and Requirements (don't worry, we can train you!):
FOH Role - This will be your primary role
- General customer service. Customer service is the most important part of the job
- Running front of house as a team, or individually
- Must be comfortable running a cash register and assisting in food prep (bagels and cream cheese)
- Front lobby maintenance
- Managing cream cheese inventory
- Inventory counts
- Providing assistance to the bakers when needed
- Clean and disinfect work area; set-up and break-down work station; and follow and ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Responsible for opening store on time
- Able to close the entire bakery
- Ensure that all equipment is clean and sanitized.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Shifts may start anywhere from 5-7am
- Weekend availability required
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
