We have been retained by a leading supplier of analytical instrumentation used in the water treatment industry, dedicated to designing, manufacturing, and selling high quality water treatment analyzers, to help them find a National Sales Manager. They are looking for a driven and experienced individual to join their team in the office. The NSM will play a key leadership role in shaping the growth and success of their sales operations, as well as have direct sales responsibilities. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the direction of their sales strategies and overall business expansion.

The ideal candidate will be located in the Atlanta area commuting to the office daily. Their primary market is the municipal water treatment industry, with some industrial market sales as well.

Specific responsibilities include :

  • Develop and execute sales approaches : Build, implement, and manage an annual sales plan that aligns with our clients business goals and growth objectives.
  • Sales Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Regional Sales Managers and Inside Sales to drive performance and meet sales targets.
  • Marketing and Business Development : Initiate and develop innovative marketing strategies to generate new leads and opportunities in target markets.
  • CRM Management : Oversee and regularly update the ZOHO CRM system to track opportunities, quotes, and sales orders, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting.
  • Sales Innovation : Bring fresh, innovative approaches to sales strategies while building on the proven successful methods that have traditionally driven their growth.
  • Account Management : Build strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met with excellent service and support.

The ideal candidate will have :

  • Experience : 5 years of experience managing a B2B technical sales team in a relevant industry.
  • Education : Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or in business management, marketing, or professional sales.
  • Skills : Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience with CRM software (preferably ZOHO) and sales strategy development is essential.
  • Innovation and Growth Mindset : Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and propose new strategies to drive growth.
  • Compensation range (Base plus Bonus / Commission) : $150k
