We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to fill the role of Tax Specialist beginning as soon as January 2025. This role is a fast-paced and challenging position that relies on the ability to interact with members of the corporate accounting office to assist with the tax and accounting processes in a professional environment. Job Description:
The role of the Tax Specialist includes supporting the Tax Director, Accounting Managers, and other members of the corporate accounting team to promote timely reporting of tax and financial information for multiple entities.
Responsibilities
- Build working relationship with Tax Director and Accounting Managers.
- Assist with completion of income tax filings for various entity types.
- Assist with completion of monthly financial reports.
- Research various aspects of the business.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Other task as assigned by the Manager
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills.
- Accounting knowledge base.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Familiarity with the automotive dealership industry is a plus.
