Position Overview
As a Body Technician, you will be responsible for executing structural and cosmetic vehicle repairs with the highest level of accuracy and efficiency. You will assess damages, develop comprehensive repair plans, and restore vehicles to pre-accident conditions while adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform meticulous bodywork, including dent repair, panel replacement, and structural restoration
- Conduct thorough damage assessments and determine the most effective repair strategies
- Utilize advanced repair techniques, materials, and equipment to ensure factory-quality finishes
- Collaborate with estimators, painters, and other technicians to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of repairs
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations, safety guidelines, and quality control measures
INDSJBR
- Proven experience in automotive body repair (minimum 25 years preferred)
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to superior craftsmanship
- Proficiency in structural repairs, metal finishing, and refinishing techniques
- Ability to interpret repair estimates and technical documentation
- I-CAR or ASE certifications (preferred but not required)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
