Head of Corporate Finance Technology Production and Development – (job location is Jersey City, NJ; employer is Jefferies LLC) – Perform functional or process impact assessment, code changes, and unit testing following Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices. Support testing, application upgrade, and other infrastructure upgrades that impact PeopleSoft application. Coordinate with the Database Administration team to migrate code to test environments. Monitor daily PeopleSoft batch processes, interface processes and resolve issues in a timely manner. Add or update new or existing users and controllers in PeopleSoft by updating security profiles. Maintain application configuration and related changes in PeopleSoft. Report project progress, and escalate project issues and risks as needed. Create change management tickets, obtain necessary approvals from change control board and coordinate project and configure migration to test the production environment. Utilize technical tools such as application engine, application package, PeopleCode, XML Publisher, Application Workflow Engine, Web Services, PeopleSoft Query and nVisions tools for interface, workflow, reports and automated process development. Prepare functional and technical specification design documents. Coordinate and collaborate with business process owners, application owners and controllers for business process and functional inputs to gather business requirements and perform impact assessment on existing processes and business. Automate processes and eliminate errors caused by manual error early in the stage of production by identifying pain points in technical scope through continuous service improvement. Recommend and implement process standardization, application stabilization, resolution of recurring issues, process automation, and roadmap to application upgrade and cloud adoption. Manage the integration development with other Jefferies Corporate platforms and 3rd party systems. (file-based batch and real-time). Provide monthly status reports, service metrics, and trend analysis summary. Requirements : Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role. All of the required experience must have included experience with : implementing, supporting, and upgrading the General Ledger module of PeopleSoft Financials application; Snowflake; Tymetrix; Qlik; Power BI; cheque printing software; PeopleSoft modules, such as Accounts Payable, Receivables, Billing, Project Costing, ePro, Purchasing, or Contracts; PeopleTools; PeopleCode; Application Designer; Application Engine; SQR; BI Publisher; Integration Broker; and TWS Scheduler. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our Jersey City, NJ office and flexibility to work remotely from another U.S. location. Salary : $180,000 / yr.
