JOB FUNCTION:
1900 Wealth Internship: To provide high level customer service and administrative support to 1900 Wealth officers, their clientele, and the tenured Client Service Assistant.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Assist in the delivery of all firm services through support of lead advisors.
- Process client requests with priority.
- Continue to drive and improve the client experience.
- Account Administration
- Onboard new accounts and asset transfers.
- Review account applications for completeness and compliance requirements.
- Conduct account level updates for client needs and preferences.
- Manage and maintain confidential client/prospect information through CRM databases, will review paperwork regularly and update as needed.
- Cash Management
- Set up and monitor recurring portfolio distributions.
- Process ACH and wire transfer requests.
- Monitor cash levels for fees, distributions, and other cash needs.
- Process quarterly billing and reconcile at account level.
- Portfolio Performance
- Prepare performance review packets for client meetings.
- Maintain quarterly performance reports for client portal.
- Help create customer reports when needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Work Experience
- Actively working towards their bachelor’s degree.
- Strong ability to prioritize with focus on client service and effective communication.
- Able to identify process improvement needs and work to resolution.
- Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
Preferred Experience (Optional)
- Administrative office experience.

Education/Skills/Experience
- Actively working towards their bachelor’s degree.
- Must be highly organized and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Must demonstrate integrity and accountability.
- Must be detail oriented.
Equipment/Machines/Software
- Excellent computer literacy in Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to use Internet Browsers.
- Ability to work with office equipment such as multi-lined telephones, copiers, scanners, shredders, and fax.
- Ability to learn new computer software programs.
Competency Requirements
- Proven organizational skills with ability to multi-task and follow assigned tasks through completion.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must have the ability to work with affluent clients.
- Must be accustomed to a fast-paced office environment.
- Must have problem solving skills to proactively think of solutions.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to reach, bend and lift files up to 15 pounds.
- Must be able to sit for most of the day in front of a computer.
- Must be able to speak to and hear customers.
- Must be able to be mobile in an office environment to access file cabinets, office machines and other equipment used.
- Must be able to type on a keyboard and read a computer screen.
