Marine Electronics Technician

Jefferson Beach Yacht Sales (JBYS) is seeking a talented, full time Marine Electronics Technician at our West Michigan location. Hours are 7AM-4PM Monday through Friday with overtime as required. Overtime is mostly required during spring and fall for launch and haul seasons as well as intermittent delivery events. We offer very competitive pay and competitive benefits.

JBYS services and repairs new and used Sunseeker, Viking, Princess and Absolute yachts, as well as many other makes and models. We mainly work on vessels in the 40’ to 80’ range. Job Description:

Assist our Master Electronics Technician with all diagnostics, installations, repairs, and estimates of all onboard electronic and electrical equipment on vessels ranging from 30-100 ft. in accordance with manufacturer instructions and ABYC/industry standards. This includes, but is not limited to: generators, shore power transfer systems, electronics, PLC systems, chart plotters, MFD’s, routers, NMEA networks, and all other onboard electrical systems. Follow policies and procedures as set forth by the service manager. Local travel is required as well as travel to Chicago often during summer months only. We supply a company vehicle and fuel card.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour (Higher/top pay given to top candidates)
