Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Food and Beverage to lead our front-of-the-house operations and enhance the dining experience at our establishment. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for food and beverage management, who can deliver exceptional service while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management, fine dining, and catering, with the ability to supervise and train staff effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service and quality.
- Develop and implement menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.
- Manage budgeting processes, including cost control, inventory management, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards throughout the operation.
- Train, develop, and supervise staff to foster a positive work environment and enhance team performance.
- Utilize Clubessential POS systems for efficient order processing and tracking sales data.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate catering events and special functions.
- Monitor guest feedback to continuously improve service quality and operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Experience in fine dining establishments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS systems or similar point-of-sale software is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in budgeting, supervising staff, training development, catering, and overall operational management.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
