Jefferson City Manor is currently has openings for a Restorative Aide. These positions assist with rehabilitation efforts to maintain or improve the resident's rehabilitative status, in accordance with the standards, policies and practices of the department.
Essential Functions
Provides restorative services as directed by the Charge Nurse.
Obtains and documents the body weight of the residents at daily, weekly and monthly interims.
Routinely meets with DON to review and update all restorative plans.
Observes residents for any changes in physical, emotional or behavioral conditions and notifies the Charge Nurse of any changes or concerns.
Documents residents' participation in restorative care.
Protects the confidential nature of resident information and adheres to resident rights.
Follows all company policies and procedures.
Complies with federal, state, local and company health, safety, and sanitation laws, regulations and standards, including Standard Precautions and Infection Control Guidelines.
Assists with mealtime activities including delivering food, feeding residents, moving residents to dining areas.
Complies with the company's employee safety prevention and accident reporting program.
Participates in and assists residents during fire drills and other safety drills.
Timely response and follow through on all communications.
