- Demonstrates knowledge of basic insurance and billing procedures.
- Performs secretarial/administrative support duties in a timely and efficient manner.
- Demonstrates knowledge and ability to assist with checking patient in and out for his/her diagnostic testing.
- Correctly uses facility communication systems.
- Demonstrate ability to schedule exams and testing for all Imaging Modalities in Radiology.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of exam preparation when required prior to testing.
- Strives for continuous quality improvement.
- Participates in educational experiences designed to maintain and/or improve professional competence.
- Maintains high work ethic standards.
- Provides quality customer service to staff, patients and visitors at all times.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED
- Medical terminology preferred
- Previous experience in a diagnostic imaging department preferred
- Scheduling experience preferred.
- None required for staff position

- Ability to use computerized information systems
- Skill in establishing and maintaining good working relationships
