Responsibilities
Instructs and assesses Medical Assistant students through completion of on-line curriculum and hands-on skill development to validate that student skills are at a proficient level and the student is prepared to move to clinical training. Instructor will make recommendation regarding students moving to clinical placement.
This position will serve as the primary instructor for the Medical Assistant program at Jefferson College. This is a part time temporary position. The program meets in person twice a month for skills instruction. The instructor must also keep track of student progress and answer technical questions as the students progress through an online curriculum. The instructor must be an RN.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse license. Experienced in teaching preferred. Experience with related computer software programs including Microsoft Office and Excel.
