Jefferson Community College, Watertown, New York, a member of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, is conducting a search for a full-time Laborer in the Facilities Department.
This full-time position requires the performance of general labor both indoors and outdoors: grounds work, snow removal, general cleaning operations, assists with building maintenance & repair and semi-skilled tasks as required on shift. Hours are Tuesday - Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; weekend work may be required.
Minimum Qualifications: None required, but some experience in heavy, manual labor is desirable.
Special Requirement: Appointees will be required to possess a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State or otherwise demonstrate their ability to meet transportation needs of the job.
$16.73/hr. (40-hour workweek)
