Location: Port Townsend, WA (Onsite)

Position: Development Director (Full-time, Exempt).

Salary: $90,000 - $105,000/year, DOE

Your Role:

As our Development Director, you'll be a key player in cultivating donor relationships and driving our fundraising success. You'll work closely with the CEO and board to:

• Build Relationships: Cultivate and manage individual and foundation donor relationships.
• Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for major gifts, annual funds, and planned giving.
• Data Analysis: Analyze donor data to refine strategies and track progress.
• Pipeline Development: Strengthen the individual giving prospect pipeline.
• Communications: Craft compelling donor messaging and storytelling.
• Internal Systems: Oversee development of systems to support fundraising growth.
• Team Development: Help build the development team.
• Performance Tracking: Provide fundraising goals and reporting.

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience in donor relationship management (gifts $5K ).
• Experience developing fundraising strategies (major gifts, annual funds, planned giving).
• Strong data analysis skills for strategy development.
• Experience supporting/coaching others in fundraising.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to craft an inspiring case for support.
• Strong attention to detail and project coordination.
• Flexibility and teamwork spirit.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Interest in community foundation models.
• Curiosity about, and investment in, the Jefferson County Community.
