What are the responsibilities and job description for the OPTIONS Care Manager-NO Weekends-NO On-call position at Jefferson County Area Agency on Aging?
The Jefferson County Area Agency on Aging is seeking a full time OPTIONS Care Manager to work 37.5 hours per week Monday through Friday. As a Care Manager, you will assist seniors and their families in resolving problems and obtaining needed services. Interested individuals should possess computer skills and be detail oriented. Experience preferred but not required. Travel throughout the county is required.
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree with 12 credits in Psychology, Sociology, or social welfare, gerontology or other related social sciences. Wages start at $15.00 to $15.75 per hour depending on experience. Benefit package that includes health, Life, LTD and 403b plan with employer contributing 6%, Paid Vacation, Paid Sick Time and Personal days with optional coverage of Vision, Dental and Aflac.
