Job Title: Civil Summons Caseworker
Reports to: Support Services Manager
Job Summary: Responsible for entering civil summons service attempts into the KASES child support system, and tracking them to ensure adherence to federally required timeframes.
Required skills/abilities: Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, must be detail oriented and must possess excellent time management and organizational skills. The ability to create and navigate excel spreadsheets is a plus. Must have computer and data entry skills.
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED. An Associate’s Degree or at least 2 years of related experience is preferred. Excellent attendance required.
Typical working conditions and/or physical requirements: Position is located within the Jefferson County Attorney’s Office, Child Support Division 1930 Bishop Lane, Louisville, KY 40218. Work is performed in an office setting. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. Daily use of computers. Mobility within the office including movement from floor to floor and personal interaction with other employees within the division is essential.
Salary: $37,440.00 per annum/$18.00 per hour (Funding is in whole or in part from federal, CHFS, or other state funds).
