We are looking for AEMTs who are...
PASSIONATE about delivering exceptional patient care
READY to function on the fire ground to the extent of your training
DISCIPLINED to show up on time, work hard, and make productive use of downtime
FLEXIBLE - you might find yourself on different ambulances, a chase car, and/or fire apparatus, all in the same shift.
Qualifications:
- Be at least eighteen (18) years of age;
- Current WV or NREMT AEMT certification
- Current CPR certification;
- Completion of an approved Hazardous Material Awareness course
- Completion of an approved Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC)
- Valid Drivers License
- Firefighter I certification (WV, ProBoard, or other acceptable equivalent)*
- Firefighter II certification OR Vehicle & Machinery Rescue Operations*
**Applicants without fire training will be considered, provided they are willing and able to obtain the required training within 1 year of hire.
