What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic RN, LPN, or Certified Medical Assistant position at Jefferson County Health Center?
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Creates a professional office image by providing superior customer service while effectively assisting the medical providers in the care and treatment of patients, and by working cooperatively with other staff members to promote a smooth flow of work within the office. Performs assigned procedures and duties within the scope of practice as set forth by the Iowa State Board of Nursing. Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Iowa RN or LPN license, or completion of a Medical Assistant program (Certified Medical Assistant preferred)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Experience in a physician’s office preferred
- Computer skills preferred

Reports to Clinic Nurse Manager
