To perform radiographic and mammographic imaging examinations and procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, but under the direction of the radiologist and/or ordering physician for diagnosis, and possibly treatment. Assumes responsibility for designated areas of department operation as trained and required.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technology
- Certification in mammography required
- Currently registered, or registry eligible, by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Currently holds an Iowa "Permit to Practice Diagnostic Radiography" (classification “general”) from the Iowa Department of Public Health.
- Continuous Training: Must maintain continuing education standards to meet requirements of the "Permit to Practice" as set by the Iowa Department of Public Health as well as those required by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
