What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Manager position at Jefferson County Health Center?
POSITION OVERVIEW:
To plan, organize and direct the overall operation of the Department of Radiology and all of the related imaging services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technology or other allied health/imaging professional. Currently registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or other imaging governing bodies.
- Bachelor’s degree in health administration or related field preferred, Master’s degree ideal.
- Currently holds an Iowa "Permit to Practice Diagnostic Radiography" (classification “general”) from the Iowa Department of Public Health if applicable.
- Must have experience as a diagnostic radiographer and display leadership qualities to be responsible for a department.

Reports to Chief Operating Officer
