Job Overview
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
Duties
- Clerical operation of the office including typing letters and reports, filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Manage phone systems, including answering calls, directing inquiries, and maintaining phone etiquette.
- Provide support in managing office supplies and inventory.
- Utilize County Accounting System for basic accounting tasks including keeping department books and budget.
- Transcription of Commission Meetings, typing and mailing of minutes.
- Assists in preparation of grant applications.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Skills
- Proficient in data entry with strong typing skills.
- Knowledge of Community Development Programs and knowledge of map reading and interpretation.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Knowledge of Accounting Procedures.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
