The general minimum qualifications below will apply for professional positions:
• Education: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited college or university.
• A Teaching Certificate or substitute certificate or the ability to obtain one with appropriate endorsement(s) is required for teaching positions
• A demonstrated philosophy that all students can and will learn.
• Excellent attendance record
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written, and excellent interpersonal skills
• Professional verification of successful work experience and job performance and/or student teaching experience.
• Evidence of the willingness and the ability to comply with the Employee Code of Conduct established by the State Board of Education.
• This individual will exhibit skills pertinent to foster positive human relationships and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, and the community
Other Information
Reports to: Building Principal or Department Head, depending on position
Work Schedule: 200 Day Contract- extended contracts may be approved by the BOE depending on the position
Hours to Work: 7.5 - 8 hours / day, depending on position
