Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and emergency care when needed.
- Develop and manage individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions or special needs.
- Conduct health screenings and maintain health records to ensure students meet immunization and wellness requirements.
- Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics such as hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention.
- Act as a resource for mental health support, providing referrals and guidance as needed.
- Promote a safe and healthy school environment by monitoring communicable diseases and implementing school health policies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR/AED) Certification
- Strong clinical skills and experience in pediatric or community health nursing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with students, staff, and families.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay calm in emergency situations.

The terms of employment detailed in this job description are based on full time employment during the school year. Conditions of employment adjusted for part time employees or individuals who are hired for less than an entire school year.
