Job Details Assures optimal drug therapy for patients. Oversees the medication distribution system for area of responsibility. Job Description Essential Functions · Adheres to Corporate Compliance Guidelines · Demonstrates knowledge and compliance with the Hospital Safety and Infection Control policies as required by OSHA and the Patient Safety Program. · Adheres to all Jefferson Policies and Procedures. · Assures the appropriateness of drug therapy and compliance with hospital policies. Oversees the distribution of medications throughout TJUH. Participates is the training of pharmacy technicians, residents, students, interns Assures the implementation of processes to assure the quality of Pharmacy services. Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.
