Reporting to the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, the Associate Director of Enterprise Sponsorships (AD) serves as a fundraiser for fundraising events coordinated by the Office of Insitutional Advancement. This includes fielding all sponsorship inquiries from industry and corporate partners, proactively soliciting event sponsors by leveraging institutional relationships, liaising with department event leads to develop appropriate sponsorship levels and materials, creating an enterprise sponsorship strategy for vendor relations in partnership with key departments, and implementing cohesive, comprehensive event sponsorship packages to distribute to regional businesses, and connecting to the appropriate teammate if additional, non-event partnerships and giving opportunities arise. The AD will be responsible for achieving agreed upon annual fundraising metrics

Job Description
- Partner with departmental and enterprise leadership to build relationships with their key vendors and create annual opportunities that meet their event sponsorship goals.
- Create a compelling and easily accessible sponsorship “menu” for interested partners.
- Collaborate with event leads to establish sponsorship levels and collateral material to promote event sponsorship.
- Implement event vetting process and best-practices to guide event sponsorship priorities setting across the enterprise.
- Continously work throughout the enterprise to collate annual events with sponsorship opportunities and distribute these offerings, with appropriate sponsorship levels and benefits, to potential supporters.
- Liaise with sponsor representatives to collect funds raised and provide appropriate stewardship, protocol, and tax forms.
- Work with OIA colleagues to develop an overall plan that cultivates interest and fosters lifelong relationships within the Jefferson vendor community, including linking to the appropriate team members if non-event partnership opportunities arise.
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5-7 years of professional experience in events-based fundraising, marketing or communications
- Experience working with corporate representatives
- Experience with events strategy and materials development
- Proven experience in cultivating and maintaining relations with key vendors/regional orginizations
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with both internal and external constituencies.
- Ability to develop and manage annual strategic plan
- Experience with fundraising database software systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
