Job Description
The Senior Patient Advocate is the primary contact managing concerns and grievances from patients, their families, and other healthcare consumers. The Senior Patient Advocate is called upon to intervene in crisis situations and negotiate resolutions between conflicted parties while operating within an ethical construct, seeking to promote the interest of the patient first and foremost, and then seeks to promote relationships between staff and patients. These efforts lead to a more positive and individualized healthcare experience, recognizing the diversity and uniqueness of each person. The Senior Patient Advocate proactively communicates and demonstrates the concern and responsiveness of the Jefferson region and of facility they represent providing a specific channel through which patients can seek solutions to problems, concerns and unmet needs.

Certification of Patient Advocacy or Similar Certification Preferred Certified Public Notary preferred
