Ultrasound Vascular Technologists are responsible for the following:
As an Ultrasound Vascular Technologist, you will exercise independent judgment in the operation and use of diagnostic ultrasound imaging and related equipment and perform vascular ultrasound and other related non-invasive vascular testing procedures. Qualifications for this position include:

Job Description
Ultrasound Vascular Technologists are responsible for the following:
- Performs vascular ultrasound and other related non-invasive vascular procedures.
- Explains imaging procedure to the patient and obtains complete patient history.
- Performs clerical, transport or other duties necessary to the efficiency of the unit.
As an Ultrasound Vascular Technologist, you will exercise independent judgment in the operation and use of diagnostic ultrasound imaging and related equipment and perform vascular ultrasound and other related non-invasive vascular testing procedures. Qualifications for this position include:
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound training program
- Post registry preferred, must obtain registry within 3 years of hire
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification
