Job description
Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a Housekeeper. This position would work Full Time 8:00 am to 4:30pm (4 and 2) schedule in Housekeeping. Prior experience as a housekeeper is required. Prior experience in a hospital or long term care facility is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable work environment
- Maintaining infection control procedures when performing housekeeping tasks
- Polishing furnishings, fixtures, and ledges
- Cleaning, sanitizing, and washing bathroom fixtures
- Cleaning floors to include sweeping, dusting, and mopping
- Removing dirt, grease, and film from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting techniques
- Willing to work as part of a team and take direction
Job Type: Full-time
