What Your Job Will Be Like

In This Role You Will
- Work alongside users and staff scientists, taking part in the running and analysis of ongoing Hall C experimental program.
- Participates in the longer-term development of new detectors for future Hall C experiments.
- It is expected that the Hall C postdoctoral fellow will interact with the Jefferson Lab user community in the development of new experimental equipment and ideas, in the analysis of data, and to help with publications.
Education
- Ph.D. in experimental nuclear or particle physics or high energy astrophysics
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing (e.g. email, memos, explanations, drawings) and explain work to his/her supervisor and others in the group.,
- Experience in data analysis
- Ability to interacts well with work group.,
- Can present work associated with specific projects at professional meetings
