JeffCare, is a program of JPHSA and a Federally Qualified Health Center that provides integrated primary care and behavioral health services from two health centers in Jefferson Parish.
We are looking for an Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying insurance coverage for patients, ensuring that all necessary documents are received and accurate, and communicating with insurance companies to ensure that the patient's coverage is up-to-date. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility.
- Enter insurance information into the system.
- Follow up with insurance companies to ensure accuracy of information.
- Maintain accurate records of all verification activities.
- Provide customer service to clients regarding insurance coverage and eligibility.
- Resolve discrepancies in insurance information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
