Job Description:
The Executive Director is responsible for the overall operation of the facility. This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of the facility, ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations, and assisting in developing policies and procedures. This position will also provide leadership to a team of staff members, as well as give direction to staff on a daily basis. The Executive Director will also assist in budgeting and forecasting, as well as maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment. The Executive Director will report directly to the CEO.
Core Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall operations of the facility, including budgeting, staffing, maintenance, security, client retention, and client service.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve departmental goals.
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed at all times; monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations; monitor the performance of staff; suggest personnel actions; report performance issues; ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key community contacts, including business partners, government agencies, unions, community groups, etc.
- Provide leadership to the recruitment process, including interviewing, selection planning, on-boarding training & mentoring.
- Responsible for scheduling staff on a daily basis.
- Provide direction to staff on a daily basis.
- Budgeting & forecasting.
- Assist in the budgeting process, including monthly reports to the management team.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Report directly to the Board of Director
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred; Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable. Experience: Minimum five years experience in management or supervisory role preferred; Experience working with a Childcare environment preferred; Knowledge of business processes and functions such as budgeting, forecasting, and staffing management preferred.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
