HOURS: Evenings
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy.
Minimal Experience & Skills: Excellent communication skills A spirit of teamwork and an amiable demeanor Excellent problem solving, decision making and logical thinking skills Demonstrate an attitude of professionalism and excellence. Ability to work with computers.
Preferred Experience & Skills: History of Pharmacy Technician experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
Job Summary: Under the direction of and subject to verification by a licensed pharmacist, the Pharmacy Tech will assemble and distribute pharmaceuticals, maintain records, and assist in the technical aspects of the pharmacy. Upon completion of specialized training, may compound sterile admixtures.
