What are the responsibilities and job description for the PHARMACY TECH - INPATIENT PHARMACY - PDN(AS NEEDED) position at Jefferson Regional Med Ctr?
HOURS: Hours will vary. This is an "as needed" position.
Minimum requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy. Excellent communication skills A spirit of teamwork and an amiable demeanor Excellent problem solving, decision making and logical thinking skills Demonstrate an attitude of professionalism and excellence. Ability to work with computers
Experience or skills preferred: History of Pharmacy Technician experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
Under the direction of and subject to verification by a licensed pharmacist, the Pharmacy Tech will assemble and distribute pharmaceuticals, maintain records, and assist in the technical aspects of the pharmacy. Upon completion of specialized training, may compound sterile admixtures.
