What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stamping Coordinator-2nd Shift position at Jefferson Southern Corporation?
• Supervise team leaders, technicians, and/or production associates of the stamping department. • Assist with managing SQCDM activities, improving and stabilizing key areas and 5-S. • Assist production floor, manpower, equipment, quality, productivity, associate, and safety issues. • Administer policy and safety procedures with all stamping associates. • Assign jobs to associates and related training. • Assist with reviewing and prioritizing equipment maintenance, quality and production issues. • Coordinate activities with opposite shift production. • Manage shift operations of Stamping Department, including but not limited to: stamping team leader, production associates and die maintenance associates. • Manage the stamping presses to execute the production schedule in an effort to meet internal and external customer requirements. • Develop and generate reports pertaining to results and activities within the area of responsibility. • Continually strive to improve the levels of safety, quality, productivity and 5S within the department. • Work with all departments and levels to meet the common goals of the organization. • Participate in daily and weekly production and management meetings. • Other duties as required by Management.
