COMPENSATION BASED ON EXPERIENCE.
We are seeking a service-oriented, innovative, and self-motivated applicant to lead our internal IT support and needs. This role is an entry-level technology-focused role where you will work alongside our network management company to maintain and monitor our infrastructure, workstations, and provide technology support for our accounting firm. This role reports directly to the firm administrator. This role will be in office and may transition to a hybrid role after completing a 1 year probationary period.
IT Support Duties and Responsibilities:
· Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, voice-over-IP (VOIP) phones and scanners.
· Assist with the monitoring and maintenance of computer systems and networks at the direction of our network management company.
· Provide first-line support for IT issues and requests for three offices and remote workers in a timely manner.
· This role may require occasional after-hours support for emergencies and infrastructure upgrades.
· Manage the provisioning of user accounts with our network management company and perform workstation setups.
· Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
· Evaluate new technology solutions and make recommendations to our Firm Administrator.
· Oversee a technology and cybersecurity awareness and training program.
· Maintain and manage the firm’s technology asset inventory, including hardware and software licenses, contracts, agreements, and renewals.
· Travel to each office location at least once per month to review technology needs and issues at those locations.
· Participate in technology committee meetings to help provide insight into technical aspects of our software and hardware infrastructure.
· Build relationships internally to serve as the firm’s technology liaison and expert for all employees.
· The firm may sponsor various professional development opportunities, including but not limited to, conferences, community memberships, technical training and certifications, etc. The candidate must meet the agreed-upon professional development goals.
· Provide exceptional client service when serving as a technology liaison with staff.
· Other duties as assigned.
IT Support Requirements and Qualifications
· Minimum of an Associate’s degree in computer science, networking, or a similar field is required.
· Familiarity with diagnosing and correcting common hardware, software, and network issues is required.
Prior technical support experience is preferred.
· Technical certifications are preferred but not required.
· Prior experience will be a plus but is not required.
· Willingness to help solve complicated problems, provide effective communications, and oversee projects and tasks from the start to completion.
· Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and offices with technical problems.
· Interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
· Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize numerous projects and tasks.
