We are seeking a skilled Accounting Consultant to assist our client in the Akron, OH area with day-to-day accounting activities. This contract position will support financial statement closing, account reconciliation review, and financial statement consolidation.
About the Role
This is a hybrid schedule position requiring 2 days per week on-site in Akron, OH. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in accounting and analysis activities tied to financial statement closing, as well as extensive experience in a SOX environment and large ERP systems (Oracle or SAP).
Responsibilities
- Perform accounting and analysis activities tied to financial statement closing
- Review account reconciliations
- Support financial statement consolidation and reporting activities
Requirements
- 5 years of accounting and analysis experience tied to financial statement closing
- Extensive experience in a SOX environment
- Large ERP experience (Oracle or SAP)
