Sales and Community Relations Position
The Jeffersonville Care Center seeks a Sales and Community Relations professional to facilitate growth in admissions by developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, senior organizations, and community contacts. This role involves providing facility-related information, monitoring inquiries and resident discharges, and completing sales tracking reports. Key responsibilities include collaborating with in-house staff on inquiries, tours, admissions, and admissions paperwork, as well as staying up-to-date with federal and state regulations, reimbursement programs, and industry trends.
Key Duties
* Provide facility-related information to potential customers via outside sales calls, educational conversations, and follow-up activities.* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to promote the facility's services and increase referrals.* Collaborate with in-house staff on inquiries, tours, admissions, and admissions paperwork to ensure seamless service delivery.* Stay up-to-date with federal and state regulations, reimbursement programs, and industry trends to provide informed guidance to facility staff and community contacts.* Assist in the development of facility materials such as brochures, press releases, and advertisements to describe the facility's services.* Organize special events and presentations targeted at community lay and professional education to establish the facility as an expert in skilled nursing and rehabilitation care.
Requirements
* Previous experience in healthcare community sales relations is preferred.* Strong sales and community relations skills are essential for this role.* Familiarity with reimbursement programs from payor sources is beneficial.* Personal computer skills should be commensurate with the position's demands.* Formal sales training, adult training, and team building skills are desirable.* Understanding of advertising, collateral material design/layout/production is advantageous.
