Duties & Responsibilities
- Be present at events from set up to clean up and assist with both.
- Staging of dcor and display stations.
- Handling of clients personal inventory items.
- Responding to guest concerns and providing help as needed.
- Setting up the suites for the bridal party and cleaning up afterwards.
- Expediate orders during dinner service.
- Seeing to the needs of the wedding couple and their families.
- Assist the event captain and event designer as needed during parties.
Requirements
- Desire and interest to work in the hospitality field.
- Be able to interact effectively and communicate well with clients and staff.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time (10-12 hours).
- Must have availability on Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Have a drivers license and car, so you can drive to and from our venue.
Work will be done in-person at our neighboring venues in Wilmington: Bellevue Hall (901 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington, DE 19809) and Cauffiel Estate (1016 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington, DE 19809). The average shift is 10 hours in length and pays $16/hr plus gratuities. You are expected to work around 12 shifts over the course of the 2025 wedding season, which begins in April and ends in November.
