We are seeking a part-time venue steward to assist with cleaning, property maintenance, and inventory management at our venues in Bucks County.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the event spaces at 4 of our venue properties in and around Bucks County are properly taken care of.
- The Lake House Inn in Perkasie, PA; Aldie Mansion & Fonthill Castle in Doylestown, PA; Curtis Arboretum in Wyncote, PA.
- Equipment organization to ensure various tableware items, furniture, alcohol, etc. are in their current locations with correct inventory amounts.
- Managing the cleanliness of our event spaces to ensure the venue is clean in time for the next weekend’s events.
- Coordinate with the Facilities Director regarding any maintenance or repairs needed on the property to ensure everything is in working order.
Schedule Expectations
- Our season runs from April to November.
- Monday to Wednesday.
- 8-hour shifts.
- Total hours and specific days depend on where we are in the season and may be modified to fit the needs of our business.
Qualifications
- General Handyman capabilities: basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and/or mechanical skills.
- Valid driver’s license and your own vehicle to drive to venue or vendor sites.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, walk and stand for 8 hours, and perform manual labor.
- Comfortable working outdoors rain or shine.
Compensation
- $16/hr
- Mileage included for driving between venues
