The Role
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Service Porter to join our team and provide exceptional support to our service department. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the flow of vehicles in and out of the service area, ensuring that the dealership runs smoothly. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a strong work ethic, and are committed to providing excellent customer service, we want you on our team!
What You'll Do
- Vehicle Management: Safely park and retrieve customer vehicles in the service department, ensuring they are ready for technicians to begin work.
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers upon arrival and departure, helping to direct them to the appropriate areas and ensuring a positive experience.
- Assist with Service Flow: Help maintain an organized service area by moving vehicles to designated locations and assisting technicians and service advisors as needed..
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks such as fueling vehicles, checking tire pressures, and washing vehicles before and after service.
- Keep the Service Area Clean: Maintain a clean and orderly work environment by keeping the service area, parking lot, and customer waiting areas neat and organized.
- Deliver Vehicles: Assist with delivering completed vehicles to customers, ensuring they are informed about the services performed and addressing any concerns.
Follow Up: Maintain communication with prospective buyers, following up on leads and previous interactions to close sales.
Team Support: Collaborate with the service team to ensure the department operates efficiently and customer satisfaction is maintained
Qualifications

Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
- Strong interest in the automotive industry and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
