THIS A PART TIME CONTRACT POSITION WITH FLEXIBLE HOURS

Job Purpose:

Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

Duties:

Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

· Install, set up and tune compression molding and extrusion equipment, provide continued service to machines and installed equipment.

· Troubleshoot and program PLCs.

· Test, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical moving parts on molding machinery.

· Troubleshoots maintenance problems involving electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, hydraulic, and equipment repair or replacement.

· Performs preventative maintenance procedures on mechanical equipment and building on a scheduled basis.

· Complete monthly checklists on building and equipment procedures and maintains records of scheduled procedures.

· Installs electrical wiring, pneumatics, and machinery.

· Obtain estimates and supplies for repairs as needed.

· Performs routine electrical repairs such as changing light bulbs or florescent lamps, repairs ballasts, and replaces batteries.

· Previous experience with vertical CNCs, horizontal CNCs, CNC lathes, and grinders

· Welding experience helpful.

· Maintain safe and clean work environment.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

· Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.

· Work with outside repair technicians to assure downtime on equipment is minimal.

· Must be able to use Microsoft Office and develop and gather data.

· Must understand Electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

· Be proficient in electrical diagnostics & trouble shooting

· Individual must be self-motivated, and self-directed to do the job

· Repairs and maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments:

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Programmable Logic Controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
• Maintenance: 5 years (Preferred)
