What are the responsibilities and job description for the Math Tutor - Part time position at JEI Learning Center?
JEI Learning Center Frisco is an after school enrichment learning center. We are seeking an experienced Math instructor to teach students from grades pre-K to 8. All teaching materials will be provided. This is a part-time, year-round position. Hours are Monday to Thursday from 4:30pm-6:30pm.
Responsibilities :
· Working in intimate 4:1 setting
· Teaching and guiding students in mathematical functions for grades Pre-K to 8th grade (up to and including Algebra and Geometry)
· Grading student's work
· Helping to improve upon and develop students reach their potentials
· NO lesson planning required
· NO prior preparation is needed. Teaching material will be provided by us.
Requirements:
· Instructor should be good in Math or related subjects, and have strong communication skills
· Must enjoy working with kids
· Must be detail oriented, organized, meticulous
· Should bring energy to the classroom and be very personable.
· Prior teaching experience is a BIG plus!
· First preference to Certified Teacher
