The JOB:

• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders for accuracy in quantity, quality, and product specifications.

• Inspect deliveries for damages, defects, or discrepancies and report issues to the Purchasing Manager promptly.

• Record and update delivery information in the inventory management system to ensure accurate tracking.

• Maintain organized documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips.

• Coordinate with internal departments to confirm receipt of requested items and ensure timely distribution.

• Assist with inventory counts, reconciliations, and stock level monitoring to meet operational needs.

• Communicate with vendors to address delivery schedules, discrepancies, or backorders.

• Ensure that receiving and storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or carts safely to handle and move goods.

• Support the Purchasing Manager in maintaining inventory accuracy and addressing supply chain issues.

Requirements:

• The ability to lift 50 pounds or more
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required, college degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
• ·Two to three years’ experience in a similar position preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, techniques, and operations.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional appearance and presentation required.
• Meet NHHR background screening requirements.
