What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skilled Industrial Assembly position at JEL MANUFACTURING LLC?
We are looking for a skilled industrial assembler. The primary responsibility of the selected applicant will be the mechanical assembly of the equipment we manufacture and should be comfortable working with hand and power tools. Assembly tasks include putting together drive systems for conveyors, mounting items to steel weldments, assembling metering systems and other complex assembly tasks. When necessary this person will also assist in cleaning, priming and painting the metal fabrications we manufacture using rollers, brushes and similar equipment. Applicants should be comfortable using a manlift and ladder to work at heights up to 15'. Applicants must also be able or willing to learn the operation of cranes and forklifts.

· Comfort working with chemicals, primer and paint.
· Desire for cross training to learn multiple skill sets
· Computer competent
· Strong problem solver
· Ability to carefully read, review and follow detailed written instructions
Qualifications:
· Ability to learn or read drawings / manufacturing prints
· Understanding of hand and power tools
· Mechanical Assembly
· At least 18 year of age or older
· Availability Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm
