JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Commercial Driver to join our growing team.
American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and one of the Nation’s largest wholesale suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows, and Millwork, currently has a position available for General Production to assist our Distribution Division in providing value-added goods and services to our customers.

Job description
- Drive and operate trucks.
- Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
- Pre-inspect truck.
- Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
- Load and unload cargo.
- Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
- Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Requirements:
- 2 Years of Driving Experience
- CDL: Applicants must have a current and valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- Medical Certificate: Applicants must have a current and valid Medical Certificate.
- Driving Record: All applicants driving record will be reviewed, and anyone convicted of any of specific offenses within the previous 3 years, unless otherwise stated, while driving any type of vehicle will not be considered for a driving position with JELD-WEN. (see plant manager for list of convictions)

Expected pay for this role is between $30.47 to $33.68 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
