The Manager, Finance Systems will oversee and support our OneStream, Concur and MDG systems. This role is responsible for managing a team of analysts, ensuring the efficient operation and integration of these platforms within the organization.
Principle Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of analyst, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and support of OneStream, Concur, and MDG systems.
- Actively perform hands-on configuration and maintenance of OneStream, MDG and Concur platforms to meet business requirements.
- Develop, implement, and optimize business rules, calculations, and workflows within the systems to support financial processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system configuration issues and provide enhancements as needed.
- Manage project timelines while personally contributing to deliverables, including system setup, testing scripts, and issue resolution.
- Ensure seamless integration between OneStream, Concur, and MDG, working closely with IT and other departments to address any issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and provide regular reports and analytics to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for decision-making.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual controls
- OneStream certification or relevant training
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial consolidation, planning and reporting processes
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
- Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to apply critical thinking.
- Perform tasks with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or university
- Minimum 5 years of financial accountant experience and/or financial planning & analysis
- Minimum 3years managing a financial system team
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Financial Accounting Software (i.e., OneStream, SAP)
